Battle of the Bands Slide Show
Our friend Richie(Dick) put together this slide show of our trip to Boston, Massachusetts for a Battle of the Bands hosted by Ashley Horton with Anthem Events. We had a great time @ the event and met a lot of really cool people like Bart Steele songwriter, performer, producer and sound guy. Bart has an interesting story. He is actually suing Bon Jovi and MLB for $400 billion dollars. Read more here. Here is a video of an interview with Bart Good luck to Bart. We also met Mike Davidson of Mike Davidson Recording He was I believe one of the judges that day. His website looks pretty cool and he has a good amount of gear. Mike was friendly young chap. The battle was at the “The Greatest Bar” in Boston. The place was pretty swank. Have a drink there some time.
It was nice to be in the city for the day. We left Wells, Maine around 9:30 a.m. and got home around 1:00a.m. It was a long day but well worth it. We ended @ A Denny’s somewhere off the highway. This is when the whole crew starting passing out. Long day. Late night. Denny’s. = Sleep!
