Syndicate19 Chronicle ~ Volume 1, Issue 5

Syndicate19 played at City Limits Saloon in Sanford on March 6th. The place was already pretty full when the band arrived, and it stayed that way throughout the night. Most of the patrons who had been there for a while stuck around to check out the band. A few of the regulars commented that Syndicate19 was not like other bands that played there, and they seemed to be enjoying the change of pace.

The highlight of the night was the performance of a newer original “Beautiful Not Dead”. It is one of the songs that the guys wrote for the RPM Challenge last year, but they never played live. Fortunately, they played it before Paul’s lingering cold got the better of him. During the third set he started to lose his voice, but Randy came to the rescue with another Tom Petty cover to finish the show.

The staff at City Limits is pretty cool, too. Jack, the door guy, was super friendly, unless you caused problems, of course. Which he prooved, when he quickly took care of a couple of small scuffles. Nicole the sole bartender that night was also very nice and attentive. Syndicate19 will be back at this fun, little bar on May 1st. Hopefully, they’ll be serving breakfast again by then!

In the meantime… Upcoming Shows:

Saturday, March 14th at Post Road Tavern in Wells, ME

Friday, March 20th at Slims Tex Mex in Rochester, NH
