Syndicate19 Chronicle ~ Volume 1, Issue 10

May was a fairly busy month for Syndicate19. They started the month off with a gig at City Limits in Sanford on the first. Mike wasn’t able to make it to this show, so the other three had improvise a bit and opted for some simpler covers in place of some that really need Mike. Paul had some family in crowd that night including his Aunt Ruth, who sang a few songs with him.

On the 7th, Paul had a solo acoustic gig at the Brickhouse in Dover. He did a great job, and managed to keep from getting drowned out by the hip-hop show upstairs.

That Saturday, the band played at Post Road Tavern in Ogunquit. Anthony Vito Fiandaca opened for them with an eclectic mix of covers and original songs on acoustic. The crowd wasn’t quite as big as what Syndicate19 is used to at this awesome venue, but it was a great night just the same.

The guys had back-to-back shows on the weekend of the 15th and 16th. On a quiet Friday night they were at Slim’s Tex Mex in Rochester. The following night they were rockin’ Shooter’s in Lewiston. The patrons at Shooter’s were very enthusiastic about the band’s original music.

They played at Biddy Mulligan’s on a warm, early summer night on the 21st. The windows were open and people were enjoying the music inside as well as out on the patio. Unfortunately, the neighbors across the river were not interested in hearing the music, so the windows had to be closed. However, this didn’t stop the crowd from letting loose on the dance floor.

Thursday May 27th, Paul, Mike and Randy performed unplugged on a local news program called “207″ on NBC. Check it out WCSH6 Local 207

The band finished the month off with a great show at Brian Boru’s in Portland.
